According to the Federal Bureau of Investigation, four robberies and one attempted robbery happened between June 26 and August 12. Two to three unknown suspects are believed to be the same at each robbery.
The FBI said the suspects, armed with AR-style rifles and a black handgun, wear gloves and face coverings during the robberies. They have been seen wearing all black clothing, black or grey hooded sweatshirts, and black or grey pants.
In three of the four robberies, the FBI said the suspects took duty weapons from the armored truck drivers.
Investigators believe the suspects used stolen vehicles, which include a brown Nissan Altima, a silver Honda Accord, a black Nissan Maxima, a black Dodge Durango, and a black Acura TLX. All the vehicles have dark-tinted windows.
The FBI is warning that the suspects should be considered armed and dangerous. Anyone with information is asked to contact the FBI Philadelphia Field Office or submit a tip online at tips.fbi.gov.
