Veteran surprised with car

A Minnesota veteran who was wounded in combat was honored and presented with a new car at the State Fair.

Tuesday was the fair’s Military Appreciation Day. The event was put on by the Military Warriors Support Foundation’s Transportation4Heroes program in collaboration with Wells Fargo and Apple Autos.

Former U.S. Marine Corporal Ethan Nagel enlisted in the U.S. Marine Corps in 2005. He deployed to Iraq and Afghanistan and earned military honors including the Silver Star, Purple Heart, Navy and Marine Corps Commendation Medal, Army Commendation Medal, and two Combat Action Ribbons.
