PORTERVILLE, Calif. (KSEE/KGPE) – The Porterville Police Department is looking for the owner of a bag that was found with a “significant amount” of money inside, the city’s police department announced on Tuesday.
According to police, someone found the bag in Porterville and brought it into the front lobby of the police department on April 19. Police are now asking anyone who believes the lost money belongs to them to contact them.
Anyone with information that could help identify the owner of the money is asked to contact Sergeant Erik Martinez at 559-782-7576.
