Authorities search for missing Southern California mother and 2 children

Loved ones and authorities are searching for a mother and her two young children who have been missing for nearly three weeks.

Lisa Trejo Cordero and her kids — Memarie Fetchko, 4, and Jameson Fetchko, 2, were last seen on Aug. 6 in East Hemet, according to the Riverside County Sheriff’s Office.

They were scheduled to meet with child protective services to finalize custody arrangements for the children when they failed to appear.

“We want to ensure everyone’s well-being and would appreciate any information that could help us in locating them safely,” authorities said.
