This initiative seeks to honor and give back to one deserving veteran in New England with a free roof replacement from Adam Quenneville Roofing & Siding (AQRS). Community members are urged to nominate a veteran in their lives by submitting a short story detailing their service.
“This is more than just a roof – it’s about protecting those who once protected us,” said Adam Quenneville, owner of AQRS. “We are honored to provide this opportunity to a veteran who has given so much to our country
Nominations for the giveaway opened on Monday and will close on September 22. Short stories should be 200 words or fewer, and photos are strongly encouraged. A panel will then select four finalists who will be featured on the AQRS website and social media platforms beginning on September 30, allowing the public to vote through these channels.
The winner will then be selected by the public on November 11, Veterans Day. The selected veteran will receive a full roof replacement using premium roofing materials, backed by a Golden Pledge Warranty, which AQRS said is a prize valued at up to $15,000.
The Veteran Free Roof Giveaway was launched as part of AQ Cares, AQRS’s charitable division, which focuses on community outreach and volunteering. The company said it hopes to continue implementing these types of programs to strengthen communities throughout New England.
“We believe in building more than roofs – we believe in building hope, security, and gratitude for those who’ve earned it,” said Morgan Bennett, Director of Marketing and Business Development at AQRS.
To nominate an individual for the giveaway:
- Must be a U.S. military veteran (active duty eligible)
- Must own and live in the nominated home
- Home must be located within the AQRS service area
- Roof must need replacement (to be verified by inspection)
Submissions can be sent to newroof.net.
