The family-friendly event will run from 5 to 9 p.m. in the Downtown Cultural Arts District, centered at Third Street and Murray Street. The walk will feature local and regional artists, food vendors and live performances on a community stage.
Artists and vendors are now invited to register for booth space. Accepted works include original paintings, jewelry, pottery, sculpture, textiles, home décor, children’s clothing, natural bath products and other handcrafted goods. All submissions will undergo a jurying process to ensure that items are original and handmade. Commercially acquired or mass-produced products will not be accepted.
Food vendors will also be on hand with a variety of options, and the community stage will showcase local performers. Those interested in performing may email Amanda at amanda@louisiana-arts.org.
Registration includes a pre-marked 10-by-10-foot spot, one eight-foot table, and optional chairs and electricity upon request. Vendors not selected will receive a full refund.
