Man shot and killed in Germantown

PHILADELPHIA (WPHL) — Philadelphia Police are investigating a man shot and killed in Germantown.

Investigators were called to the area between Greene and West Rittenhouse Streets just before 1 A.M. Tuesday. Officers found a 26-year-old man suffering from several gunshot wounds. He died at the scene.

Detectives say they found a semi-automatic weapon next to the victim’s body. As of now, there’s no motive, but witnesses say they saw a man running from the scene towards Marion Street.
