Deadly accident shuts down US 25 in Laurel County

LILY, Ky. (FOX 56) — The Laurel County Sheriff’s Office is investigating a fatal crash that happened Monday night just outside of London.

Deputies said the crash happened just after 9 p.m. on U.S. Highway 25 near the Lily community.

In an overnight release, the sheriff’s office said the roadway was shut down until just after midnight.

The identity of the deceased has not been made public, but LCSO said more information will be released as it becomes available.
