Two men are hospitalized with serious injuries after an overnight hit-and-run in Minneapolis.

At around 12:15 a.m., Minneapolis police say a blue SUV driving the wrong way in the westbound lanes of Lake Street hit a cyclist traveling in the bike lane, then hit a pedestrian crossing near Fifth Avenue South.

The SUV never stopped and drove off, according to police.

Both the cyclist and pedestrian suffered injuries that are considered potentially life-threatening and were taken to a hospital, where they remain.

Investigators are still searching for the SUV and its driver.
