The accident occurred when a driver swerved to avoid a cyclist and crashed into a restaurant, injuring another child and tragically taking Ayden’s life.
“Ayden left us 16 days ago, but his school is full of his memories, laughter,” said a grieving family member at the memorial.
Ayden was remembered as a bright student, being the youngest to enroll in his Montessori school. His teacher expressed the profound loss felt by the community.
During the memorial, attendees observed a moment of silence lasting four and a half minutes, marking what would have been Ayden’s four-and-a-half-year birthday.
The Fang family, along with other community members, is motivated to take action to prevent similar tragedies in the future. They noted that two other families have suffered traffic fatalities in the same area in the past year.
Neighbors have pointed out that blind turns in the area contribute to accidents, and there is a collective desire to transform the despair into positive action that Ayden would have wanted.
