VTA celebrates LGBTQ+ leaders with new bus design

(KRON) – The Valley Transportation Authority (VTA) is honoring LGBTQ+ leaders who the company believes shaped history with their courage and vision.

With bold colors and graphic flair, VTA rolls out an “Unstoppable” themed bus, which is Silicon Valley Pride. This year marks 50 years of love, legacy and liberation, according to the VTA. “Love is Love” is also written on the bus.

The bus highlights eight LGBTQ+ icons. The Bay Area leaders include Angela Davis, Harvey Milk, and Ken Yeager, who was a longtime VTA Board Member and the first openly gay elected official in Santa Clara County.
