Three displaced in Rockville townhouse fire

MONTGOMERY COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — One adult and two children are displaced after a Saturday townhouse fire in Rockville, according to the Montgomery County Fire and Rescue Service (MCFRS).

Firefighters say crews responded at 4:03 p.m. to reports of a house fire in the 1500 block of Templeton Place, where flames could be seen coming from the windows.

There, all occupants were able to escape unharmed, and the fire was extinguished on the third floor.

Firefighters say the family is receiving assistance from the Red Cross, and the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
