The Natural Disasters to perform Saturday in Hickory Park concert series


The City of Mountain Home will continue its 2025 Hickory Park Concert Series on Saturday with a performance by The Natural Disasters, a multi-genre duo from North Central Arkansas composed of John T. Parks and Sarah Jo Sample.
KTLO, Classic Hits and the Boot News spoke with Sample, who says they have a unique blend of music.

Sample says there were multiple instances mother nature challenged them, and ended up giving the band their name.

The free concert will be held from 7 to 9 at Hickory Park, located at 466 S. Hickory Street.

Sponsored

City officials say the concert series is designed to offer residents and visitors family-friendly entertainment in an outdoor setting.

The event is sponsored by Lakeview Auto Sales and Lakeview Car Rental.

The next and final concert of the series will be Sept. 20 when The Melodikats and Friends take the stage.

All concerts are free to attend. Guests are encouraged to bring lawn chairs or blankets.
