Ragin’ Cajun men’s basketball hosts successful elite camp

LAFAYETTE, LA (KLFY) — Louisiana men’s basketball head coach Quannas White hosted his inaugural Elite Camp in Lafayette, drawing over 100 high school students eager to enhance their skills.

The camp provided a unique opportunity for young athletes to learn from the Ragin’ Cajun men’s coaching staff and players, focusing on skill development and teamwork. White emphasized the importance of player development as a key passion, aiming to equip participants with the tools to excel in their respective high school teams.

“If there’s one thing I want you guys to take away from it is just learn, and so we can help them get, you know, their prospective high school teams,” White explained.

In addition to the camp, White and his sons will participate in a father-son basketball tournament scheduled for Sunday at the Cajundome, offering another avenue for community engagement and family bonding through sports.
