PRINCE GEORGE’S COUNTY, Md. (DC News Now) — Traffic on the Capital Beltway in Prince George’s County was significantly delayed Friday after a truck overturned, leaving debris on the highway.

The collision happened around 9 a.m. on the inner loop of the Interstate 495 ramp to Interstate 95 in the College Park area.

The Maryland State Highway Administration shared a picture on X showing a truck flipped on its side in the middle of the highway. Debris could also be seen scattered along the shoulder.

Drivers are urged to use US 1 and use the interchange to access the outer loop of I-495 to get onto I-95 North.
