No students injured in crash involving MH school bus Friday afternoon

Highway 5 south, just north of Tracy Ferry Road, or State Highway 341, was shut down for a while Friday afternoon following accident between a Mountain Home school bus and another vehicle according to the Baxter County Sheriff’s Office.
Mountain Home School District Superintendent Allyson Dewey tells KTLO, Classic Hits and The Boot News there were 10 children on the bus at the time of the accident, but no injuries are reported any children. The bus driver was taken to Baxter Health to be assessed. The accident involved Mountain Home bus number 33.

Dewey says all of the children that were on the bus were either picked up by their parents or delivered to their houses.

There was entrapment and injuries reported in the other vehicle.

The Arkansas State Police is investigating the accident.
