LGMSPD said officers responded at 9 a.m. to the report of a man who unlawfully entered a home in the 100 block of Oak Rim Court. They later located the unidentified suspect after he fled toward Fisher Middle School.
“Officers immediately responded and located the suspect attempting to hide in the doorway of the staff cafeteria work area,” said police in a social media post. “The suspect was taken into custody without incident and later booked into the Santa Clara County Main Jail on unlawful trespassing charges.”
Police said there was no threat to students and staff while they resolved the on-campus situation, adding “throughout this event, officers worked closely with Fisher Middle School officials to ensure a swift and safe response.”
The motive and circumstances behind the incident are not yet clear.
