Draper City residents face all-day water outage due to leak

DRAPER, Utah (ABC4) — Draper City residents should plan for water to be out for most of the day today, Aug. 23, according to city officials.

“Crews have been working all night and ran into unexpected complications,” Draper City posted on X. “We do not have a specific time estimate for restoring service. Residents should plan for water to be out most of the day. We will provide an update as soon as we hear that service has been restored.”

City officials reported a leak in a water line at around 11573 South 700 West on Friday. The issue caused an emergency water shutdown.
