Marcos Gonzalez-Reyes, 43, of Vallejo, was indicted by a federal grand jury for distribution and possession of child sexual abuse material (CSAM).
Court documents, according to the U.S. Department of Justice, said Gonzalez-Reyes used a peer-to-peer software client called eMule in December 2025 to send “hundreds of depictions of children engaging in sexually explicit conduct to undercover law enforcement agents over the course of only three days.”
During a search warrant executed at Gonzalez-Reyes’s Vallejo residence in May 2025, agents located electronic devices containing “thousands of additional depictions of children — including toddlers — engaging in sexually explicit conduct,” the DOJ said.
Gonzalez-Reyes was arrested Wednesday without incident and booked into federal custody, according to the Solano County Sheriff’s Office. No bail was set for his release.
If convicted of distributing CSAM, Gonzalez-Reyes faces a maximum of 20 years in prison and a $250,000 fine. For the charge of possessing CSAM, he faces a maximum of 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.
