The Parish Council unveiled the vendors who will be setting up brick and mortar locations at the newly built Pointe Food Pavillion.
Starting in November, park visitors will be able to east at Coastal Barbecue, Sabor Del Parque, Louisiana Purchase Kitchen Express and Nonno’s. The council said the Pavillion will fill a need at the park.
“We noticed that the people that were frequenting the park, there’s just nowhere to eat, particularly with all the teams that are coming in and so what we wanted to do is provide something for them,” said Parish Councilmember Arita Bohannan. “We tried food trucks, and then we thought about something more permanent, and what a great opportunity for four small businesses to have a brick-and-mortar place that people can come and visit in the park.”
The Pavillion is the latest upgrade to Lafreniere.
