65-year-old Charles Duncan was found guilty of Online Solicitation, two counts of Sexual Performance of a Child, Possession of Child Pornography, and Possession of Methamphetamine.
During sentencing, Assistant District Attorney Bird urged the judge to impose a life sentence, citing the long wait many of the victims endured for justice. Duncan’s attorney requested deferred adjudication, but Judge Yeats handed down prison sentences in each case, totaling 90 years.
Due to enhanced parole requirements, Duncan will not be eligible for parole until he has served at least half of his sentence. If released, he will also be required to register as a lifetime sex offender.
