Johnson County teen missing in Missouri

FRANKLIN, Ind. — A 16-year-old from Franklin has been reported missing.

According to the Johnson County Sheriff’s Office Facebook post, William “Sawyer” Oswalt was last seen in Myrtle, Missouri, which is near the Arkansas state line.

He is 5 feet, 10 inches and 180 pounds. He is possibly traveling along Highway 93 or the BB Highway in Missouri, possibly with a 16-year-old black male who is 6 feet and 175 pounds with a scar on his left wrist.

Oswalt requires a prescribed medication and may experience severe medical episodes without it.

JCSO is asking if anyone sees Oswalt or has any information regarding his whereabouts to contact a local law enforcement agency right away.
