(KRON) — A 60-year-old Gilroy woman who owned a local daycare for nearly a decade was arrested recently on suspicion of child molestation, police said.

The child molestation suspect, Christina Johnson, owned and operated Christina Johnson Day Care from October 2015 through October 2024, the Gilroy Police Department said. Her home daycare was located on the 6400 block of Hastings Place.

A Yelp page for Christina Johnson Day Care says it provided child care for infants, babies, toddlers, and school-aged children.

Christina johnson is seen in a photo released by the gilroy police department.

Detectives are looking for any possible additional victims.

“Our current investigation does not involve a child from the day care. However, the Gilroy Police Department wanted to advise the public of the arrest and ask any other possible victims to contact our Investigations Unit,” GPD wrote Thursday.

GPD did not release additional details about their investigation.
