Our rain cooled air will allow for overnight lows in the low to mid 70s.
The proximity of that weak cold front will still allow for a few more showers and storms, mainly Friday afternoon and early evening. Rain coverage looks more limited with roughly 30% of Central Texas expected to get rain tomorrow.
Aside from the rain, we’ll have a mix of sun and clouds with highs in the mid 90s. A northeast wind will keep temperatures down a bit, despite some sunshine.
We’ll only have a very low rain chance in the forecast for Saturday, but generally speaking the weekend is looking dry and seasonable. More sun this weekend will mean more heat as highs return to the upper 90s by Sunday, which is normal for this time of year.
Some low-end rain chances make a return by the middle of next week.
