Cool off with Vampire Penguin’s unique ice treats in Hurst

HURST, TX (KDAF) – With this Texas heat, a nice cold treat is always a good idea. There’s a shop in Hurst that serves a lighter, fluffier version of snow cones.

Vampire Penguin serves up delicious treats that look like an American snow cone but have the texture of Hawaiian ice, and the creaminess of Taiwanese ice. There’s something else very unique, too. They flavor the water before it’s frozen so that you get a delicious bite full of flavor every single time.

Then there are the toppings. You can select from a long menu of pre-crafted options like the strawberry cheesecake, tuxedo, or even Mexican candy. If you don’t see anything that catches your ice you can also get the flavored ice plain or pick your own toppings.
