On Wednesday night, CHP in Modesto pulled over a vehicle for an alleged vehicle code violation. Police said the driver was a parolee and determined to be driving under the influence. Additionally, the driver had a “ghost gun” underneath the driver’s seat, within reaching distance, according to CHP.
“These types of guns don’t have any serial numbers or additional marking required by law, making them extremely difficult to trace,” CHP said.
The driver was arrested and police said the weapon will “eventually” be destroyed.
