1 dead, 2 critically hurt after semi crashed into pickup truck in Meade County
GUSTON, Ky. (FOX 56) — One man has died and two other people were critically hurt during a two-vehicle crash Thursday morning in Meade County.

Kentucky State Police announced that, at 10:32 a.m., troopers were called to help investigate a crash near the 14000 block of U.S. Highway 60 involving a semi and a truck.

LATEST KENTUCKY NEWS:

Initial investigations showed that Marshall Morgan, 77, was traveling eastbound when he reportedly crossed the center line and hit a Ford F-150 driven by Glenda Ricketts, 74, of Shepherdsville, according to KSP.

A passenger in the truck, Jerry Ricketts, 80, of Shepherdsville, was declared dead at the scene by the Meade County Coroner’s Office. Glenda and Morgan were rushed to the University of Louisville Hospital with life-threatening injuries, KSP confirmed.

There is no word on their condition at this time, and the crash is still under investigation.
