The multi-state Powerball has a ticket cut-off time of 8:59 p.m. with a drawing time of 9:59 p.m. Each ticket costs $2.
The Powerball jackpot is when a player matches all six winning numbers, the five white numbers and the sixth Powerball number. Lower dollar-value prizes come from matching a few numbers, or the Powerball alone.
Officials said that between 2023 and 2024, five Arkansans claimed non-jackpot prizes of $1 million or more.
An extra $1 on a ticket gets a PowerPlay multiplier that multiplies non-jackpot prizes by 2, 3, 4, 5 or 10 times. A player matching the five white numbers but not the Powerball number on a PowerPlay ticket can win up to $2 million.
Tickets may be purchased from retailers, vending machines or via a mobile app. More information on where to play is on the Arkansas Scholarship Lottery Where To Play page.
