Texas A&M to sell Buc-ee’s food and merchandise on campus

That’s because Buc-ee’s, the popular restaurant, gas station and gift store, will be selling its popular food items and merchandise at three locations on the Texas A&M University campus.

So students and visitors can buy items like Beaver Nuggets, beef jerky and other snacks and merchandise at Aggie Express Commons, Aggie Express Hullabaloo and Creekside Market through Aggie Dining.

Texas A&M becomes the first location to sell Buc-ee’s food and merchandise outside of its travel centers, which are located throughout Texas and other parts of the U.S.

“As an Aggie, it’s incredibly special to bring Buc-ee’s to the heart of the campus,” said Arch “Beaver” Aplin III, founder and CEO of Buc-ee’s and a member of the Texas A&M Class of 1980. “We’re thrilled to share a little piece of Buc-ee’s with the Aggie Family every day.”

The Texas-based convenience store has operated since 1982, with 36 locations throughout the state. And they are planning to open two new locations in San Marcos and Boerne later this year.

The stores and its merchandise have a cult following across Texas and parts of the county.

As of early July, Buc-ee’s operates 54 stores across nine states, with other stores in Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Kentucky, Missouri, South Carolina, and Tennessee. The company has undergone a major multi-state expansion since 2019 and opened locations in Georgia, Mississippi and Virginia in the past two months.
