One dead, 2 others hurt in Oxon Hill triple shooting

Editor’s Note — The copy has been updated to reflect an update the police made on the number of shooting victims.

OXON HILL, Md. (DC News Now) — One person has died in a triple shooting that happened on Wednesday afternoon in Oxon Hill.

The Prince George’s County Police Department said officers responded to a shooting just before 3 p.m. in the 5100 block of Indian Head Highway.

Three males were shot, and one of them died there.

One juvenile victim was taken to the hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, and the other left the scene.

Police do not have any suspects in custody at this time.
