NCDMV hosting career fairs statewide to reduce driver license wait times
CHARLOTTE, N.C. (QUEEN CITY NEWS) — The N.C. Division of Motor Vehicles announced the addition of 40 new driver license examiner positions​ that will help address long lines and wait times throughout the state.

NCDMV is actively recruiting for these roles. To accelerate hiring, NCDMV will be participating in recruitment events across the state in the coming weeks, providing opportunities for candidates to explore these roles and apply directly.

Upcoming Career Fairs:

  • Aug. 20 at 10 a.m. – 1 p.m. (1830-B Tillery Place, Raleigh)
  • Aug. 20 at 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (2301 West Meadowview Road, Greensboro)
  • Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. (1515 N. Church Street, Rocky Mount)
  • Aug. 21 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. (8629 J.M. Keyes Driver, Charlotte)
  • Aug. 21 at 10 a.m. – 4 p.m. (87 Haywood Street, Asheville)
