New adidas uniforms will include a adiZero Electric football uniform and the brand’s iconic three stripes products.
Along with the football field at Traz Powell Stadium at 1380 NW 27th Ave. being renamed Adidas Field, the partnership will encompass 41 high schools across the county, including varsity, junior varsity, and feeder programs. These schools include the “Super 7,” which consistently produces some of the nation’s top-ranked collegiate and pro athletes.
The “Super 7” include:
■Booker T. Washington Senior High School
■Homestead Senior High School
■Miami Carol City Senior High School
■Miami Central Senior High School
■Miami Norland Senior High School
■Miami Northwestern Senior High School
■South Dade Senior High School
This collaboration reflects the school system’s continued commitment to enhancing the student experience by celebrating athletic achievement and strengthening initiatives with local business partnerships to promote excellence, choice, innovation and safety, said Dr. Jose L. Dotres, the schools’ superintendent. By partnering with the third-largest school district in the nation, adidas is reinforcing its commitment to supporting high school athletics and investing in young athletes.
“We are honored to join forces with adidas to elevate every high school athletic program in our county,” he added. “This partnership will have a transformative impact on our high school athletes, inspiring and empowering the next generation of athletes across our schools.”
Family and fans can purchase official licensed adidas gear for these schools at www.dadeschools.athsolutions.shop.
