Loudoun County elementary school teacher arrested for soliciting minor

LEESBURG, Va. (DC News Now) — Leesburg police have charged a teacher with soliciting a minor after a months-long investigation involving authorities from Florida.

The Leesburg Police Department (LPD) said its investigation into 28-year-old Antonio G. Ford started in March of 2025, when authorities from Florida reached out regarding an ongoing case.

Authorities told LPD that they suspected that the suspect in the case lived in Leesburg and was using electronic communications to solicit the minor.

Investigators identified Ford as the suspect and issued an arrest warrant for him on Wednesday, Aug. 20.

LPD worked with the Loudoun County Sheriff’s Office and took Ford into custody at Lovettsville Elementary School, where he works as a teacher.

Officials held Ford without bond.
