With proper usage, administrators believe this tool will improve the educational experience for both students and teachers.
Superintendent Keith Burton believes AI will make things easier for everyone in the classroom.
“It will allow educators to teach at a much faster rate. It’s not anything we want to run away from. We want to embrace it and utilize it to ensure that it’s providing the best well-rounded education to our students. It’s going to adapt how we teach and enrich how we teach, but it’s never going to replace teaching,” Burton said.
Pending approval of the school board, a policy will be put in place for educators and students to use only acceptable forms of AI in the classroom.
