WATCH: Kellen Moore discusses QB competition as the Saints are now NFL’s only team that hasn’t named a starter

METAIRIE, (La.)- The Browns and Colts have named their starting quarterbacks, so now the Saints are the only team in the NFL that hasn’t. Head coach Kellen Moore confirmed that the team is still evaluating both Spencer Rattler and Tyler Shough.

Shough started the latest preseason game against the Jaguars, and the team only reached the end zone one time (with 27 seconds left on the clock).

Moore said neither quarterback created much separation in the race during that game. He won’t know who will start Saturday’s home preseason contest against the Broncos until later this week.
