Officials from the Lackawanna County Communications Center told 28/22 News crews were called at about 8:15 p.m. for a report of a cow on the loose.
Authorities explained that it happened in the area of Sepko Road and Interstate 84 near Madison Township.
Station 56 Madisonville led the response to the incident and is working to corral the loose bovine, according to officials.
A Pennsylvania State Trooper can be seen driving alongside the animal until help arrived.
No roadways were shut down during the crews’ response to the incident, and there are no reported injuries.
