ROCKFORD, Ill. (WTVO) — Rockford Police arrested Terrance Moore, 38, for allegedly attacking a woman with a hammer.

Officers were called to the 600 block of Score Street for reports of domestic battery on August 16, around midnight. The victim told authorities the situation began when Moore started pushing her.

The woman grabbed a hammer to protect herself, but Moore took it from her and hit her once in the eye with it, according to court records.
