The minimum wage in Minnesota will go up to $11.41 an hour to adjust for inflation beginning in January, according to the Department of Labor and Industry.
The prior statewide minimum wage was $11.13 an hour.
The 90-day training wage for people under 20 will increase to $9.31 an hour.
St. Paul and Minneapolis both have ordinances that may require a higher minimum wage for employers in their cities.
Minneapolis’ minimum wage is $15.97. St. Paul’s minimum wage is $15.97 for macro and large businesses and $15 for small businesses.
