Man turns himself in after fatally shooting woman at Germantown Spa

(WPHL) — A man has turned himself in after shooting a woman inside a spa in Germantown on Monday.

According to the Philadelphia Police, the shooting occurred on August 11 at 6:35 p.m., when officers from the 14th District were flagged down by a witness who reported hearing gunshots inside the Mister Relaxation Spa & Lounge located on Germantown Avenue.

Officers entered the spa and found 48-year-old Rashida Irvin inside the bathroom suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to the torso. She was pronounced dead at 6:45 p.m.

On August 20, at 12:05 a.m., 55-year-old Kyle Irvin turned himself in at the 14th District. 

He will be charged with murder.
