Mammoth Spring Police asking for public’s help with hit and run

The Mammoth Spring Police Department is asking for the public’s help in locating a hit and run suspect who struck a pedestrian last Friday morning. Police Chief Jamie Turnbough says the victim was treated and released at Baxter Health in Salem.
Turnbough says the vehicle they are looking for is an extended cab truck that is light blue or silver in color that possibly has handicapped tags.

The accident happened around 10:50 Friday morning near the Mammoth Spring Post Office on Arkansas State Highway 9 or Main Street.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Mammoth Spring Police Office at 870-625-3518 or the Fulton County Sheriff’s Office at 870-895-2601.
