Get Down in T-Town is more than just an event, its about celebrating the diversity that makes Topeka special. It’s a family, friendly community event and will feature 20 different venders, food trucks and live music.
The event takes place from 4-9 p.m. Saturday, August 23 in the NOTO Arts and Entertainment District.
27 News Spoke with an event organizer, Tevyn Harmon about what he is most excited about.
“I think the community aspect of it,” Harmon said. “Just getting everybody in the community and showing everybody this is Topeka, you know, this is what it is about, shopping local, listening to live music, and coming together and supporting each other.”
