Beginning around 10:00 a.m., some parts of town saw nearly an inch of rain over the span of about an hour, causing flooded streets across Abilene.
These storms are ahead of a cold front that’s pushing through. Temperatures will drop several degrees and storms are expected to fizzle out as the front stabilizes this afternoon.
