Circle K offering 40 cents off gas; Here’s how to save in Central Illinois

ILLINOIS (WCIA) — A well-known gas station chain is offering a deal to help customers save money while school costs are high.

Thursday is Circle K Day and from 6 a.m. to 11:59 p.m., the gas station is offering 40 cents off the price of gas per gallon.

“The back-to-school season is exciting, but it can also bring extra financial strain, which is why it’s the right time for us to bring back Fuel Day for our valued customers, new and existing,” Louise Warner, Executive Vice President of Operations, North America, for Circle K, said in a news release.

Only registered Circle K members will receive this offer. Circle K said Inner Circle members must enter in their phone number associated with the account at the pump or the register before the transaction to redeem the discount. To make sure your local Circle K is participating, check your Circle K app or Circle K’s website. 

On Monday, GasBuddy reported that the average price of gas per gallon in Champaign was  $3.24. Statewide, the average cost was $3.38.
