On Aug. 29, 2024, an unidentified individual spoke with detectives about sex crimes that possibly involved a 15-year-old.

That person stated that they found phone messages “belonging to her 15-year-old daughter, which indicated that an individual had apparently traveled to Assumption Parish to engage in sexual activity with the juvenile,” according to the Assumption Parish Sheriff’s Office (APSO).

Electronic evidence was gathered, which supported what the person told detectives.

Price was identified as a suspect, and arrest warrants were obtained for his arrest, APSO said.
