Man killed in car vs. pedestrian crash in Topeka

TOPEKA (KSNT) – One person is dead after a vehicle vs. pedestrian crash in east Topeka.

The Topeka Police Department (TPD), Topeka Fire, and American Medical Response (AMR) responded to a report that a person was struck by a car around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, Aug. 18 near the intersection of Southeast 15th Street and Southeast Adams Street. First responders found one man at the scene and took him to a local hospital for treatment.

Police say the man later died at the hospital. An investigation is ongoing.
