On Aug. 23, the food festival will showcase traditional dishes from over 24 countries. The free event will take off from the Oronoco Bay Park from 11-7 p.m., featuring traditional music, dance and handmade crafts.
With the motto, “One Day. One Park. Dozens of Countries,” this year’s food festival will have a culinary line-up that includes one food vendor per country. Food lovers can explore the tastes of Afghanistan, Ghana, Guyana, Jamaica, Japan, the Philippines, Peru, Singapore, Thailand, Turkey and more.
While diving into different cultures through food, live performances will highlight the beauty of traditional clothing and folk dance. Over 110 crafts, small businesses and artisans will also be present to share the different cultures from across the globe.
