David Rains Community Health Centers hold back to school wellness checks

SHREVEPORT, La. (KTAL/KMSS)- The David Rains Community Centers are holding back-to-school wellness checks.

They recently held an evemt on Saturday, the 16th. Children who completed the free wellness checks received a free uniform voucher, a backpack filled with supplies, and parents got a chance to win a $50 gift card.

The centers aim to support families and ensure that every student begins the school year on strong footing.

Another one will be held on Saturday the 23rd at the Bossier location 1514 Doctors Drive from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and will include bounce houses, music, food, backs and supplies as well as the uniform voucher.
