JONES COUNTY, Texas (KTAB/KRBC) – Multiple fire crews are battling a large grass fire east of Anson.
The fire began on August 18 near FM 600 and US Highway 180. According to the Texas A&M Forest Service Incident Viewer, it is roughly 288 acres. According to Jones County Dispatch, it is nearly contained.
