27 News got in touch with Panda Express to find out when its new location at 801 Northwest 25th Street will open to local residents. A spokeswoman for the company said a tentative opening date is currently scheduled for Oct. 30, 2025.
“Once open, this free-standing location will feature a drive-through and boast the latest Panda Home design. Inside, customers will find a distinctly American Chinese design that bridges the East and the West with red lanterns, a moon gate portal and vibrant Chinatown signs.”

Customers can expect to find a variety of meal options at Panda Express locations. People can build their own bowls and plates with different ingredients like Kung Pao chicken, white and fried rice, chow mein, teriyaki chicken, beef and more.
Panda Express currently has one other open location in west Topeka at 1920 Southwest Wanamaker Road. You can learn more about what Panda Express has to offer by clicking here.
