Student in custody following fight at East Jefferson High School

JEFFERSON PARISH, La. (WGNO) — An East Jefferson High School student was taken into custody by the Jefferson Parish Sheriff’s Office on Monday, Aug. 18 following a fight.

JPSO deputies said another student was injured and taken to a hospital.

The school resumed normal operations after the fight.
